10 Haikus

The bird that flew by
distinctly caught my right eye
beautiful it was
-------------------------------------------
My birthstone is blue
celebrate in December
1st 1993
-------------------------------------------
Rain drowns the my plant
under the water like sea
the beauty unseen,
-------------------------------------------
Cupcake and Icecream
Delicious it is to me
I am to happy
-------------------------------------------
Sun upon my fae
the hottest its ever been
Need to find the shade
--------------------------------------------
Chicken and Tofu
Vegetables of all sort
I ate good tonight
--------------------------------------------
It is way to hot
I must find a shaded place
I drink some water
--------------------------------------------
I smell amazing
Juicy Courture perfume
I am ready now
--------------------------------------------
Its Intuition
Ive got this crazy feeling
That your will mess up
--------------------------------------------
I wonder what happens
when spirits are in heaven
I can wait to see

M.D. Loville

If I were a doctor, I would specialize in the brain. Also known as a neurological specialist, I would focus on the functions of the brain and different diseases one could have like brain cancer or brain disorders. I would .diagnose, treat and manage the patients suffering from neurological disorders. As a neurologist specialist  I would be able to perform surgery and order differnt methods of treatment for my patient. Anm average day in the life of a neurolisgist would consist of me getting up early in the morming and eating a delicious and healthy breakfast, I would go to work , ina nice and simplistic hybrid car, park in my reserved spot near the front for the neurologicial specialists, and make my way to my office. I would have only a few patients at a time so that I could focus on them as effectiveley as possibly to ensure the best treatment. I would be both calm, clear, and patient. Speaking in plain language that my patients and their families could understand and I would also be patient in knowing that they had disorders and wouldnt always get things mentally. When I had to do different surgeries I would prepare by looking over patients charts, their history and the progressiveness of their condition. I would research alternative options and talk to other specialist but always trusting my own judgement. I would do yoga before going into surgery. After sucessful surgeries I would keep carefu track of my patients and make sure they recived the proper care they needed, wanted, and desered. I would be one of the most accurate and thurough specialist. I could get used to hearing the name Dr.Loville over a Hospital P.A system.

20 Feet Tall

Whew! 20 feet tall is a giant times two. If were that tall im not sure what I would do. The world would be to small for me. I would probably have a rather difficult life at a size that large. I would have to have everything custom made. I would not be able to have a normal house, it would have to fit me comfortably and safetly. I know for a fact that I would have to live on a farm somewhere that I can grow an abundance of food, because I eat alot already and I am only 5"2 now. Life would be hard to function as a 20 foot tall person. Ecspecially when the average height of a male is 5'10 and the average height of a woma is 5"3 and the tallest person in the world was only 8 feet 5 inches. I would probably have numerous health problems and would be a practice dummy or rather an experiment for doctors across the world, curious about my size.Unfortuntely I would not be able to trravel out of the area I lived in because transportaion would be an issues, being that I wouldn tbe able to fly, drive, take a boat train, or even skateboard.  On the brighter side I would not have a problem seeing over people anymore as I do now. In class I wouldnt have to worry about getting the seat in th bakc if there were no more in the fromt because I would be able to see over everyones heads. I would have a good vew of the world around me and be able to enjoy it in a whole new way. LIfe as a giant would be rather hard, with some benfits but mostly side effects. I defenitely am happy to be 5"2 and would not wish upon my self or any one else to be 20 feet tall.

Song Bird

One thing I am really good at is singing. I can saing or "sang" as some might call it. I sing or hum all the time at home, school, walking around , or in the car, when I wake up , throughout the day and before I go to sleep. It has been a passion of mines for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing in the church choir and have continued through my teenage years. I have always sang solos in the choir and love to do them when the opportunity presents itself. I've had my rough moment although , where I didnt want to share my talent. I sometimes became intimidated by older or more experienced singers. There have also been plenty of times where I did have self confidence in my self to perform, and thus did very well. One particular time was my recent solo performance in the church choir. I sang Encourage Yourself by Donald Lawrence. I had sung it before and at that time alot of people cried and rejoiced with joy and afterward told me that I had a true annointing and gift to sing. Before this time and the time before my most recent one, I prayed. After this most recent performance, I once again had poeple coming to after the church service thanking me for singing the song with tears flowing down their faces, and how they were truly encouraged throught the song and felt on the inside the words I sang while performing. This hit me deep, and since then I have been working on getting studio time and working with different artist and bands. I have gone to auditions for music videos and had some sucess with different things I goten into. I will soon be getting a manager and then an agent. I have high hoed and dream for my singing and hope that I have the opportunity to do it as a career. Although I do love to sing I know that my education id a first priprity and I will finish college, with either a degree in music or some other field. Even if professional singing or music writing doesnt become a career of mine I will always be happy singing as an individual and in the church choir.

Stir-Fried Chicken & Tofu Sandwhich

If I could make my own sandwhich it would be a healthy and delicious monster sandwhich. It would have a long name, necessary for all the topings it would hold. It would be a would be a stirfried chicken sandwhich. The ead would be buttery and soft garlic bread. It would be topped lean grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce drizzled on it. I would add a thick slice of cooked Organic Tofu ontop of the chicken. Vegetables and red and yellow peppers would cover the chicken and tofu, including toppings like snow peas, carrots, zuccini, yellow squash, waterchesnuts, broccoli, sugar snap peas, green beans, celery, onions and mushrooms. Ontop of that would be more teriyaki sauce. I would top it off with another piece of garlic bread. My Sandwhich would be a masterpiece. It is defenitely one of the most unique sandwhiches I have ever heard of or constructed myself. It would be both healthy and delicious and most importantly filling. I would take my time to make it a perfect looking sandwhich and display it on a beatifully decorated plate with teriyaki sauce creatively drizzled around it. Food is much better sometimes, when it looks presentable. My sandwhich would be both presentable and good. It would also be affordable, uunlike some helathy food. My sandwhich would be something that people who do not necessarily want to be a vegetarian would enjoy as a meal.

Cash Prize

A particular time when I won something was about a few years ago. I was volunteering for an annual breast cancer luncheon. An older woman from my church always sellls tickets every year to the luncheon. She is a breast cancer survivor, and has become a main person in head of the breast cancer awarness organization. At this particular luncheon I was helping out as a hostess. My job was to, passout flyers, and direct people to theur seats as well as help in the raffles. I did my job throughout the luncheon. It was easy and fun at the same time. Toward the end of the luncheon I was called up to help out with the raffle for free money and prizes. I went up as I was asked to draw names with numbers for the raffle. I pulled out a few after mixing them up and handed them to the announcer. A few people won nice baskets, and gift cards of all sorts. We were soon done with the first raffle so we began with the next one, the cash prizes. The prizes ranged from $ 50 to $75 to $100 dollars each name. I first pulled to see who would win the $ 50 dollar cash prize. The winner was an older lady in the back of the banquet room. Next was the $75 cash prize call, I pulled a name, and to my surprise the nam Ashley Loville was called by announcer, reading of my number. I smiled, laughed and said"That's me". My friends and family attending the banquet, raved and cheered for me as I went up to accept my prize. It was a true shock to me, as i hadnt expected to win anything.  The $75 cash money prize was beautifully wrapped around a summer hat. It was like recieving two gifts in one. I was truely happy that day to finally win a raffle. I have not won anything since then , but have faith that it is possible to win cash prizes.

Super Woman

If I could pick any superpower, I would most like to be able to fly. I think it would be beneficial, adventurous an exciting power to attain. I would use it to benefit society. I would fly around and visit my family that I otherwise wouldnt be able to see without getting on an airplane or long train ride. I would travel the world to see the Eight Wonders of the world. I would fly around the city and state doing community service, and delivering medicines, or food, to the those that desperately needed it. I would also help out globally. I would travel to Salvadot de bahia Brazil, and spend time with the friends I maade while there this past summer. I would also deliver food and American money to them. American money is worth more than Brazilian money, so it would be really useful to the poverty stricken indiviuals and families that needed it. I would fly the amazing artist that I met while in Brazil. A man that simply, sat outside near the beach on the sidewalk painting with his pinky so artistly, anything that you wanted him to. With only his pinky and a small toothpick, he made masterpieces. He was a true artist with the most unique talent, and I know for a fact that if he was in Brazil, he would be a billionaire.I would then, fly nextodoor to Africa and deliver medical supplies, and fruits and vegetables to villages that didnt have them, I would also take tents to protect them from mosquitos. After visiting Africa, I wouild travel to other continents, helping and supplying where necessarry. After all of this I would fly and home to my family and friends.  WE would laugh and talk and eat in our big  back yard. I would end the night watching movies, and fall asleep late that evening. I wuold wake up the next morning and do it all over again. My days as a woman able to fly would be bothe benificial and adventurous.

My Afternoon with ...

If I could spend the afternoon with any one member in my extended family it would be my cousin Denzel. He and I are the same age, and are almost the only two our age in our family that we know or associate with. He and I like to hang out together and have more in common with each other then with our other cousins. All of my other cousins on both sides of my family are all either 20 and above or 10 years old and under, so Denzel and I are likley to cling to each other. On an afternoon with him, I am not exactly sure what we would do first. We would probably start at the mall, and then the movies. We would defeniteley go out to eat, something that we both Love to do, but you would not be able to tell from our size. Later on in the day we might go to an arcade or an amusement park, whatever one fit our intrest and budget for the weekend. We would end the day at my house, eating brownies, a snack he and I favor. A day spent with my cousin Denzel would be full of fun and laughter. Of all my cousins I would be more then happy to spend an afternoon with him.

Me On The Moon? No Thank You

I would not want to visit the moon. I am perfectly fine with staying on the earth's surface. Preparing both mentally and physically to take a journey like that would take time and money I do not have at the particular moment. It would be fun and adventurous, but it also dangerous. I feel as though there are plenty of places to explore here on earth that I would like see rather then travel outside of the universe. A particular reason as to why I wouldnt want to go to outerspace is that time in space moves at a much faster pace then time here on earth. I wouldnt want to miss key points in the lives of my friends and family. The world is big enough of an adventour for me. As of now I am content with watching Discovery Channel and seeing the moon on the television screen.

Earn Money

There are plenty od effective ways teens my age can save and earn money. Unfortunately, so many teens wrongfully fall into the stereotypical idealism that only way to make money is by stealing, selling narcotics, or by other negative means. The ability to earn money is quite simplistic with alittle bit of brian power, hardwork, and discipline. Some ways teens can earn money are by doing household chores. Some parents give their children allowances for doing chores, as a first step into what a job might be like. Unfortunately, my parents do not give me allowance for the chores that I do, but I dont complian because my chores are minimul. I earn money through having bake sales. I bake an assortment of patsries like cookies and brownies and sale them to make profit. I have been very sucessful in my method to earning thus far. Other ways teens can earn money is through Fundraising. I did a great deal of this raiding money with my church to go on a mission trip to Brazil this summer. We were very sucessful in support we recieved financially through it. Other effective ways one might make money is, with permission to sale some of their parents items on Ebay. Ebay is a good website to post and bid items you may no  longer want, that some might find a treasure. Teens could have garage sales and give away toys and books and things they no longer need or use. Babysitting children is a great way to earn money as a teens. It is probably one of the most poular ways to do so. Lastly tutoring other teens or children is a good way to earn money. Teens can earn money if they have the tenacity to do so.

"The Baby Dragon"

There once was a dragon that lived far far away. It had a a baby dragon and they lived ontop of a grassy hills. The baby dragon was cute as a button. It had pretty pink scales and unsharpened nails, or claws. The baby dragons rawr was a tiny squeak compared to her mothers fire breathing rawr. One day the baby dragons mother needed to go and get some more food. She left the baby drgaon on the hilltop nest and warned her to stay put, because she would be right back. As most young children do, she disobeyed her mothers orders. The baby dragon decided she would try to fly today.  She went to the edge of the nest and stopped  with slight fear as she saw her mother. Her mother now looked like a baby ant in the vast clear blue sky. With no more time to contemplate, the baby jumped off, demonstrating what she had seen her mother do, she flapped her wings, but failed to stay in the air. she fell fast to the next tree on the way down the mountain. landing on the rock softly, she afraid. Suddenly, the ground beneath her began to shake and crumble as her weight was to much for the already loose dry ground. She began to fall once again. Screaming for her mother with tears down her face that dried as the wind quickly rushed against it, she wished so badly that sh had listened to her mother. Out of nowhere a large claw grasped the baby dragon by the tail. It was her mother. She reached the top of the mountain, placing the food down in one arm and the baby down in the other. The baby dragon hopped into its mothers arms, glad to see her once more. The mother dragon gave the baby dragon a speech as to how she much never try that again. The baby agreed, they ate and the mother dragon rocked the baby to sleep.

Four Seasons...Fall is my Favorite

My favorite season is Fall. Fall is a warm and cold season. Fall is the time when school and work goes back and you get a chance to see everyone you may or may not have seen over the summer. Fall is also a big time for holidays. We celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving in the fall.  The fall is a time when the leaves change colors and that chilling breeze starts to roll over into the city at night. It is a warming season with family togetherness. Im excited about this fall season because I get to spend it with my family in Alaska. We plan on going snowboarding and skiing while there which should be very fun.  Usually, the fall is a cold time od, but the way the weather is now, as it was over one hundred degrees in Los Angeles today, Im not sure if it will get that cold. Another reason I enjoy the fall is because I celebrate my birthday in the fall. We usually go to Big Bear around my birthday, and it has become one of my favorite places to visit during break. The fun times with my family that I wont forget, the holidays and joyus time and laughter welll spent  all combine to make the fall season unforgettable and exciting. I love the Fall.

Game Show Network

I  Love to watch the game show network. If I had the opportunity to be on any show it would be Family Fued . The host was recently replaced with the comedian Steve Harvey. Going on the show would be bothe a comedy show and a chance to win money. I would take my family with me, probably my immediate family members some young and some old. The show would start off with the inroduction of the Loville family, and then the other family playing against us. Two people from each side would be picked to answer the games first question to see which family would start the game. Of course mines would win. We would start steady and strong , staying in the lead. We answer questions wisely as individuals and discuss the best ones as a group when possible. Our strategy would be hard to beat, and would be proved by the landslide lead we held over the other family. We would then go the last round of the game with my family the only one standing. We would pick to of the brightest and quickest thinkers to answer the last round of questions under the time limit. With luck we would get all of the correct answers and the number one anwers and walk away with the prize cash money. We would leave happily with the money and full of laughter and jikes to tell others, from the comedian Steve Harvey. My family and I would evenly split the money up and do with it, as we pleased.

Home Sweet Home

The thing I like best my home, its peacefullness both inside and outside. I truly love the enviroment that surrounds my home. Surrounded by policemen, landscapers, firemen, and everyday working parents with small children. It is quiet with the exception of the ocassional cries, laughter, and cars, or airplanes. I dont alwayshave to be at home,  and can safely and comfortably go out walking or hanging out with my friends that live on my street or in the nieghborhood. I enjoy the trees, and plants, and beautiful landscaping. All in all I love my home and my family and our togetherness, yes we argue ocassionally as all families do but, that doesnt last for long. My enviroment with its peace and beauty are also things that i feel come with my home and I am truly thankful for them.  Sometimes its hard to believe Im still in Inglewood, when I walk outside.

My Football Stadium

My job at a football stadium would be the owner of the stadium. As the owner I would be responsible for the construction, architecture, and safety of the building and the well being of the pplayers that call my stadium home. I would schedule non- football events at my stadium, like other sports, or possibly even the Olympics. I would schedule fundraisers at my stadium to raise money for health care, like breast cancer or cancer centers like St. Judes Hospital. I would also open up the stadium for the commmunity events, for children and teens to keep them off the street. I would schedule a time for disaster prepardeness professionals to inspect my stadium to make sure it would be a stable and safe structure in case of disaster. This would benifit my investment and the community as a place they could come to and be safe from the disasterous conditions. My day would end with going to the games. I would go from the field and talking with coaches and celebrities and other people on the field, to the high rise seats and box office seats were other corporate people and celebrities sat. I would then make my way down to the concession stand and order chicken hot dogs, popcorn and chips. I'd eat and laugh with everyone. At the end of the game when the home team won, I would go down and help pour Vitamin Water on the head coach. Life as a football stadium owner wouldnt be allfun and games, but I would be sure to add that in there frequently.

Four Years Ago

Four years ago I was twelve. Currently at the age of sixteen, I am able to do so much more than i was at twelve. I have more freedom to go out and stay out later. I am able to do things that I otherwise would not have been able to without an adult when I was twelve. I can now sit in the front seat, while when I was twelve it was against the law to sit in the passenger seat of my dads truck. A major thing I consider a privlege of being over twelve is that I am able to do now that wasnt then, is stay up late, without a bed time.  At sixteen, I can handle my own money, because my parents trust my judgement as to how i spend it. One thing I like about being over twelve years old is that I can legally get into pg-13 movies, not that I had'nt before but it feels nice to have the law on your sude. The most significant  thing about being sixteen is being able to legally drive. I can get my license, and drive my parents car legally, something that I most certaintly was not able to do at twelve years old. Though I'm not driving at the moment, I plan to have  at least my permit by the end of this year. I am not yet able to do everything legally. Being sixteen has its privleges and are certaintly alot more then when I was twelve years old. I am living in the moment of being sweet - sixteen.

A Monkey As A Pet ?..naah

I do not think that having a monkey would make a good pet. I'm not necessarily a "pet" person, although I do own a rather large fish tank at home. However, I am not the one responsible for it or the fish. I know that pets are sometimes seen as responsibility builders. I feel like children can learn responsibilty in other effective ways like chores or other household  and community responsibilities like gardening. Yes, pets teach us that we must have patience, oraganize our time whe nplans change, or to always be over prepared, but you can learn these things from other sources and situations. A are beautiful creatures but arent always the most desirable pets. For example, they do not smell the most pleasant, they are not quiet, and are not always the most friendly. Just a few years ago a  woman with a pet monkey was attacked by her own pet who she had raised. The animal totally ripped her face off, almost killing her. Clearly, having a monkey would add unecessary danger, and preparation for an animal that belongs with others like its kind. A monkey is a wild animal, I strongly feel like that is were it should stay, for the health, safety and well being of both itself and us humans.

The youngest person I know

The youngest person I know is my beautiful little Godsister Zola Pickens. She is a beautiful brown baby, with
soft skin and even softer eyes who will turn 1 years old tomorow. She is the daughter of the pastor of my church Seth Pickens at Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is the rue light of the room, bringing both love and joy with her smile and big bright eyes. She is a mellow baby, who rarely fusses or fights. Zola is African for  quietness, which mightdescribe  her mild and mellow behavior. She is truly a joy to be around, as she continually keeps me laughing and smiling as she explores the world and people around her.  As the youngest person I know, I feel like I have alot to show and share with her as she grows into a young lady. As the youngest and most innocent person I know she teaches me alot as well. Her innocence, simplicity, and joy for the minorist things in life are what inspire me daily.

The oldest person I know

The oldest person I know is an elder at my church who is 101 years old. She is a wheelchair bound , woman with  a soft voice and a soft and loving heart. Unable to remember her name, I will never forget the day i met her. It was at a birthday party at my churc. She was rolling out as I was entering the church gym. I saw her exiting and decided to help her as much as I could. She began a conversion by asking me how old i thought she was. At the time I was unaware of her age. I answered her question replying 75. She laughed and replied " I'm 101 years old"/. I gasped at her response. I ad never met anyone over 98 before. One distinct story she sshared with me while helping her to her car was that te first time she ever saw an airplane she was picking cotton on a feild,. After her story I told her how old I was. Previously that day I had thought of my self as a someone who was almost an adult, but after talking with her I felt otherwise. She gave me advice to always be strong and have self respect for myself and respect for others, to be wise and willing to learn. Also,  to loving and live in the present not the future, but not to allow that to stop me from dreamaing. It was truly a blessing to talk with her and still is a blessing to she her frequently whe nshe can make it to church. I hope and pray that i live to see 101 years old.

My Masterpiece

If I woere a wonderful painter with permission from my parents to paint anything I wanted on my bedroom walls, I would paint a hoologram on my wall of a sunny day and stary night. It would have a double effect and depending on the way that you looked at it, it would look like  either time of day. I would use bright and dark  blues, yellows, and whites, to paint the ceiling. It would be start by painting the shades of light and dark blues to create the night and day effect. I would follow by painting a yellow adn white moon , so that it would look like it could fit in the day or night sky. I would I would then paint wisp clouds of white and grey to blend beautifully in the night and in the day time. There would be yellow spects of glow in the dark paint, all throughout the painting, so thtat at night before i went to sleep, itwould appear like real stars. My bedroom, would beone of the most unique I've seenor heard of yet.

"The Bat Who Couldnt Fly"

The bat that couldnt fly would be a rather sad sight. A nocturnal animal unable to effectiveley explore at night wouldnt be so fun. For a bat to be unable to fly would be rather unfair. Imagine a bat sitting quiet in a cave, watching all of the other bats go out at night. He would sit there for a while and feel sorry for himself then, decide to do something positive about the unfortuanate situation. The bat that couldnt fly, would hop around the woods exploring bugs, animals, and trees for more bats like him. It would use its night vision to explore the night sky and the world around him .His other bat friends would  make fun of him for being incapabile of flying like them. The bat however would not be sad, that those that looked like him mistreated him. He would be close friends with the other animals that couldnt fly, like the bugs that crawled on the earths surface. He wouuld spend his nights with them, so not to be left all alone in a drafty cave. Life as a bat with no wings wouldnt be so bad.

Lunch with Kim Burrell

If I could lunch with any famous person of my choice, it would be Kim Burrell Whiley. She is a famous American gospel artist. Well known for her anointed angelic vocal evangelism, she is a true inspiration to me. I too love to sing gospel music and have hopes of one day being as influential and inspiring musically as she is to so many others. To be able to relate and give hope to others through song is a true blessing. If I could talk to her about anything while at lunch, I would ask her about her testimony and why and how she does what she does. I would ask her, what God has done for her to be such a powerful inspiration to others. I would ask her what it takes to be so successful and so influential in the gospel music industry. The last thing we would discuss is how if any way she could help me in expressing my voice to others around the world.

My Sister Stephanie

I have an older sister named Stphanie. She is exactly 5 years nad nine months older then me, making her 22 years old. If I could pick three words to describe my sister they would be intelllegent, hardworking, and virtuous. She is a true role model in my life. At times we argue, as siblings do, but we always find a common ground in the midst of it, and move on from petty situations or disputes. I truly love my older sister for her inspriration on my life. She is a very intelegent individual. As a recent gradute from the University of California Berkeley and an even more recent USC Graduate school student, shes continually furthering her education and I hope to be able to follow in her footsteps. Not only is she intellegent but she is hardworking, which is one of the reasons wh y is so sucessful academically. She is a virtuous women of strong character and i truly admire her for that.

My Pet named Brownie

If I could own any pet it would be a puppy. Spefically a small Dark Brown Yorkie Terrier. It would have a shiny rich dark brown coat of long soft fur. It would be just inches from the floor, with a small tiny bark to match its small size. I would name it Brownie and I would even put a pink bow on its head. I have almost always wanted a small puppy, until i discovered the time needed to take care of such a pet. It is much more time consuming than having fish as a pet which i have become used to over the years. Although having a small puppy would certaintly be more expensive, and more time consuming then my fish are, I would still like to have a Yorkie Terrier named Brownie. If I had the time I would take it for walks around my neighborhood in the morning and at night. I would go to the store often to get it food, and even take it with me to places like PetCo to buy cute doggy toys and some of its favorite treats. I might even buy my dog clothes, or maybe even a Snuggy. I would arrange my schedule to bathe my dog, or schedule appointements at facilities like PetCo, to cleant the dog for me when I dont have the time to do it myself. I would play with my dog on occassions and truly be a loving pet owner. Maybe get my Yprkie Terrier named brownie in the future, but as of  now I'm ratrher content with the fish aqaurium in the living room of my house.

"My Journey on a Pirate Ship"

My journey on a pirate ship would be a blast.
I would trake my friends, the best of them..
Some from church, and some from, school, some from other places too.
We all set sail at dawn right after graduation.

We would cross the seven seas.
From the North Pacific to the South
the North Atlantic to the South Atlantic
the Indian, Arctic and Antarctic.

This would be the best of any adventures.
Thus far.
We would sing all day and stay up all night
eat, play games, and do sing alongs.

My journey on a pirate ship be wild
We would all go scuba diving
in the clearest of seas
See things that no one has ever dreamed.

The guys would fish and cook the meals
Me and my girls would sit back and chill.
We would eat and laugh like we always do.
Stay up all night and wake up at 2
P.M.

This trip would be alot of fun
My Journey on  a Pirate ship would be
number One in a million.

My Deepest Fear

My Deepest fear ...
is loosing you.
If that happened, I wouldnt exactly know what to do.
I've known you almost all of my life
To loose you would break my heart.

We've laughed, cried, and prayed together.
You've been here with with me through sunny and stormy weather.
A true friend you are and a true friend you've been.
Someone in whom I could and can always depend.

My deepest fear is loosing you
Your smile, your humor, your intellect.
Some memories you just Cant forget.
They say angels walk amongst us.
Well, I think your it
Through time I have noticed that
You are an angel sent.
From above.

As innocent and pure
Somewhat resemblant of a white dove.
I cage the bird in my heart and lock it.
This bird resembles you,
To loose it, I wouldnt know what to do
My Deepest Fear is loosing you.

If I opened my own restaurant

Imagine
If I opened my own restaurant.
It would bne called  Um pedaço de casa
Portuguese for "A piece of home"
I would name it this because its  inviting.
To know there a place near by that reminds you of home life.

It would have the design of the globe.
The outside walls would be blue and green
to represent water and green land.
The inside would be decorated with every countries flag.

I would have every race working at the resturant
Not just minority or majority.
People of every shade able to speak multiple languges.

I would serve alittle of it all
from Italian, Chinese, American, Mexican, to every other food traditions.
My restaurant would be large,
Something like a food mall.

Alittle bit of everything and everyone
so that everyone that ate there would be  comfortable.
And feel Um pedaço de casa, "A piece of home".

Imagine If I woke up and saw a dinosaur

I would pull back my curtain
and be amazed by what I saw.
A whole new world, I've never seen before,
something like the movie "The Land Before Time".

A vivid veiw of colors of lush greens,
Mountains and springs as far,
as the human eye can see.

A huge dinosaur would pass
directly by the windo.
Its vibrant colors of purple and blue
I would reach out my hand to touch it
but pull back in fear.
what is it? And what would it do if I got to near?

I would look up, down , and all over.
Take a deep breath of the air so clean
Almost to fresh, its difficult to breathe.

I step out of my window
to the hard and warm ground.
and trail in the opposite direction of the huge dinosaur.
I would walk around and explore the sites.

The flying birds are what catch m eye.
Their beaks are pointed and their wings wide.
How could something that huge fly
what about gravity
that it seems to defy.

I walk on to find waterfalls
Roaring and cyrstal clear like glass.
It taste as clean as it looks

Suddenly a tall figure rushed by
scared and curious at the same time
I return on the path to my room.

I leave the world of mystery behind.
Close my window, get in my bed
And go back to sleep.
Only to wake up and realize it was alll a  dream.

If I could cook anything, what would it be

If I could cook anything, what would it be?

If I could prepare any meal for my family

What would I do?

Prepare a three course meal or simply chicken soup.

I would cook something somewhat simple and quick.

It would be something filling and delicious to make you want seconds or more.

I would make Macaroni & Cheese

A dish my whole family likes.

I have made it once before,

Why not make it twice?

First I would grad the recipe from the book shelf in the family room

And flip to the back to find the recipe.

I would then preheat the oven to the three hundred and fifty degrees.

Next, I would get all the ingredients together

Including pasta, eggs, pepper, salt, butter and

Four types of cheese, Muenster, Monterey jack, mild and sharp cheddar.

Then I would bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

Add the oil and the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

Drain well and return to cooking pot.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, I would melt 8 tablespoons butter; and stir into the macaroni.

In a large bowl, I would then combine the Muenster cheese, mild and sharp Cheddar cheeses, and Monterey Jack cheese.

I would then add the milk, cheese, eggs, pasta, pepper, and salt.

Transfer it to a cassarole dish and bake it for 30 minutes or until the dish was hot  and the cheese was bubbling.

When I was brave

I consider myself a brave person mind, body, and soul.
A particular time when I was brave,
I remember it well,
As if it was yesterday.

I was on a plane, on my way to Brazil.
The plane tossed and turned like turbulent winds.
I braced my seat, and began to pray.
"Dear God please, don’t let this plane go down today".

Just then, the gas mask fell
I grabbed it quickly but stopped at an instant.
A small child next to me looked frightened and confused
With her mom at the opposite end of the plane, she was lost at what to do.

The stewardess had warned to put our mask on
And to help others once we were done.
Without any more thought of the risk
I put on her mask, and then mine as well.

That day I put someone else’s life before my own
You may call it stupidity but I would rather say brave.
To love and understand the value of others on any given day.

If I Had A Hundred Dollars

If I Had Hundred Dollars
I wouldnt know what to do with it at first.
Id want to tell the world and keep it all a secret at the same time.
My first mental reaction would be be to spend it unwisely
On material possesions of this world
But my inner being and conscience wouldnt allow me to senselessly throw money on this earth.

If I Had A Hundred Dollars
And found I couldnt keep it
I would try and spend it wisely.
I would give to the girls I met in Brazil this past summer.
They were apart of the Bahia Street Program for girls.
A foundation with promise of education, clean clothes, food, and safety to keep them from quirrels
I would give it to them because they deserve it the most
They generous with little to offer
They ask for little but need so much
I would be able to buy the things they needed and wanted
Simply because our money is worth more in countries as such.

If I Had A Hundred Dollars
It would go far another country
Id be able to supply goods to the less fortunate
If I Had A Hundred Dollars
I wouldnt be selfish
I'd give to all and as many as I could help with it.

Do You Remember

Do you remember
When people were polite.
They greeted you with a descent hello and goodbye,
Not a head nod or message "Hi".
When they got out of the car,
and walked to the door.
Instead of texting "Hey, Im outside"

Do you remember
When songs where intricately designed to uplift women
With a most sacred intent to tell them of their Beauty beyond measure
Only to be so fragilely treasured.
And now, all you hear is degrading music to offend us.

Do you remember
When sentimental
meant more than material
When time well spent
meant more than expensive gifts

Do you remember
When simplicity was in broad term something major
When a day well spent
without Social Tradgedy
didnt require a cell phone or paiger.

Do you remember
The times back then
Luckily life goes in cycles
So we might see it again.

In the dream I was...

In this dream I was tall.
Quite different from reality
Or for now that is.
I stood there performing the most angelic song
on the stage of the Oprah show, with a slight smile on my face.
It ended abrubtly,
and all I saw were women with smiling faces full of tears and tissues in their hands.
Even Oprah was sheading tears.
They always said I had a annointed voice and maybe they were right.
Mr.Kinder , a music producer from my church suddenly appeared
He and I walked off stage
Only to pass a famous male singing group headed on stage.
Suddenly I woke up to my Ihome playing a song from the same male group in the dream.
I smiled , hit the snooze button
Prayerfully this dream becomes a reality.

The first thing I want in the morning...

The first thing I want in the morning is to go back to sleep.
Waking up to my classical music ringtone alram clock
is way to soothing to keep me alert.
My sheets are entirely to comfortable to fathom getting up.
Five more minutes is all I need.
I hit the snooze button
Then my pillow
And go back to sleep.
I wake up suddenly realizng that too much time has passed.
I snatch off my covers and jump off my bed.
I head to the kitchen to eat breakfast and then begin making my lunch.
My lunch only consist of two or more snacks, some apples, a few cookies, a handful of peanut butter crackers, and a bottle of water.
I tosh my lunch on my bag, and head for the bathroom.
I have a tendency to turn on the shower and leave the room.
This waste water and money, which my parents often tell me.
After I get out of the shower, I finish getting ready for school.
I arrive at school just in time and take a seat in class.
With a slight yawn I pull out my materials for the day and close my bag.
